Should I use a separate WordPress installation for WebinarIgnition (WI)?
No, it’s best to use WebinarIgnition on your main site. Here’s why:
- Plugins like WooCommerce won’t connect with WebinarIgnition if they’re on different sites. For example, customer name and email from WooCommerce sales or appointment forms won’t transfer automatically.
- Shortcodes from other plugins only work on the site where they are installed. If you want to use a plugin’s features in your webinar, you’d need to install and license it again on the second site.
- Managing two sites means more work and more plugin licenses.
- If a plugin causes issues, it’s better to improve it or use a different one. A well-optimized main site can run many plugins and still be fast.
